I love living in the desert! It is the most beautiful place to shoot! It made for a stunning location for Monica’s maternity session!

When Amanda chose the Sandia mountains as the location for her maternity session we weren’t at all expecting snow to still be up there. We were surprised to drive up to snow that was knees deep! This particular day ended up being super windy and freezing, but Amanda and James braved the cold and rocked their session! I can’t wait to meet their baby boy in just a few short weeks!

I met Monica a couple years ago when I took newborn photos for her of her son Luke. Over the years we have built a friendship, and I am ecstatic to be able to capture her pregnancy journey with her second child. Here are a few of my favorite from her session!

When Andrea inquired with me about a maternity session she said she was hoping for snow. She got what she wished for! The day of her session it snowed. We went up to the Sandia mountains for this session. It was a cold 19 degrees and windy, but I’m so happy Andrea was able to get what she envisioned for her session! I can’t wait to meet her sweet girl in just a few weeks!

This is the most snow we have gotten in Santa Fe in years. It was the perfect setting for this maternity session. We were lucky enough to get these photos done the day before Maricela was induced. I’m so happy we were able to capture these!
