There’s something so special about meeting a family for the first time and knowing you’ll be part of their story for years to come. Chelsea reached out to book her maternity session while expecting her beautiful baby girl, and from our very first conversation, I knew this was going to be the beginning of a wonderful relationship.

Not only did we capture this stunning maternity session, but Chelsea also chose to book my First Year Collective, allowing me to document her daughter’s milestones throughout her entire first year. From newborn snuggles to sitter smiles and her first birthday celebration, I’ll have the honor of preserving every chapter of this exciting journey.

For her maternity session, we explored one of New Mexico’s beautiful outdoor locations, featuring breathtaking mountain views, desert landscapes, and a historic stone structure that added so much character and texture to her gallery. The golden sunset gave us the most incredible light, creating the warm, glowing images every expecting mother dreams of.

Chelsea selected three gorgeous looks for her session. The first two were soft, flowing gowns that highlighted the beauty of motherhood while perfectly complementing the natural tones of the landscape. The second was a fitted black dress that created a timeless, elegant look and beautifully showcased her growing baby bump. Having multiple outfit options allowed us to create a gallery with a variety of looks while maintaining a cohesive style.

One of my favorite parts of this session was capturing the connection between Chelsea and her partner as they prepare to welcome their daughter. These moments are about so much more than documenting a pregnancy. They’re about preserving the anticipation, excitement, and love that fills this season of life.
