I’ve had the honor of photographing Ashley’s journey since she was pregnant with Sylas. From maternity, to his newborn session, his cake smash, and Christmas photos every year since, I’ve had a front row seat to watching him grow. There is something so special about documenting a family’s story year after year, and it never gets old.

That sweet tiny pink baby smell, those warm little snuggles, the tiny toes, the way they stretch real slow, and sleep so peacefully. Newborns are so perfectly small - for just a little while. Every new day, they get a little bit bigger and a little bit stronger. One of my favorite things about photographing newborns is creating stunning pieces of art through sets that really capture that sweet tiny baby-ness before it’s gone. Before you know it, you blink, and they’re toddlers climbing everything they can and asking for more snacks.

This sweet family welcomed their newest addition and I absolutely loved capturing their love as a new family of four. Baby Thomas was so sweet and squishy, but just look at his momma! She absolutely stunned in this dress and the colors were all so perfect together.
